The Oakmont Bed and Breakfast is in the heart of historic Eutaw, Alabama. Only 30 minutes from Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama, Eutaw is the first choice for busy football weekends. Eutaw, Alabama, also is a haven for antiques’ shoppers and for fishermen who will enjoy the nearby Warrior River. Eutaw is home to over 50 antebellum and Victorian era homes and many are on the National Register. Other attractions include Indian mounds and park, the Tom Bevill Lock and Dam, and the Paul “Bear” Bryant Museum in nearby Tuscaloosa. The May Antique Alley on Highway 11 brings travelers directly through Eutaw. The August Black Belt Folk Roots Festival is an annual event held in August on the Historic Greene County Courthouse Square in Eutaw, and the second weekend in October is time for the Eutaw Pilgrimage. Oakmont Bed and Breakfast is the perfect center from which to explore the wonders of Greene County. |
