Bed and Breakfast Inns in Magnolia Springs
The town follows the curving bank of the Magnolia River. The river is fed by many natural springs along both banks. The spring water was declared “the purest in the world” by several chemical companies in Chicago in the last century. It was a destination for residents of the Northern U.S. who wanted to partake of the warm healing waters. The picturesque river is lined by majestic live oaks and magnolia trees and is the only US Postal Service mail route in the U.S. where mail is delivered by boat. The main street is covered by a canopy of giant live oaks and the area is a garden of blooms of azaleas, wisteria, dogwoods, and magnolias in the spring. The Gulf Beaches and Mobile Bay are close by and the cities of Mobile and Pensacola are within an hour’s drive. Magnolia Springs is an amazing place to find a bed and breakfast in Alabama. For shopping, the giant outlet mall at Foley, AL is a very short drive away.
