Established in January 2009, Longing For Home features three spacious guest rooms: Sunshine Daydreams, Country Graces and Simple Pleasures each designed to foster a peaceful state of mind, a quiet place of grace and a slower pace of life. For those with a zest for the outdoors, “The Sleeping Porch” provides a view of the stars at night and the opportunity to wake to the music of nature that surrounds this charming country setting. Each guest rooms as unique bath with washstand-style sinks set atop marble vanity counters along with all the amenities needed to ensure a memorable stay. The Sleeping Porch features a shower-steam combination as well as a separate shared powder room. Sunshine Daydreams features a fireplace, a Jacuzzi tub and its own balcony for your morning coffee. Country Graces offers a cozy atmosphere where you can soak in the antique claw-foot tub by candlelight glowing from a 200 year old mantle. Simple Pleasures is luxuriously appointed with a cozy reading nook and a separate bath that features a Greek soaking tub built especially to soak away your daily cares. During your stay you will awake each morning to the aroma of a large “stick to your ribs” farm breakfast that include plenty of coffee and juices as well as eggs, sausage, breakfast casseroles, biscuits, fresh fruit, french toast, specialty breads and more. With its wooded grounds, walking trails through open pastures and forest shaded paths Longing for Home offers unique opportunities to relax.
